6 Home Remedies for Intestinal Worms

The intestinal worm is the parasite thieving in the gastrointestinal track. Depending upon the species mostly mature worm lives in the intestine. Intestinal Worms is the generalized term used to describe roundworms, pinworm, and flatworm, etc.

1. Neem Tree

2. Pumpkin Seed

Pumpkin seed has various health benefit among them is to get rid of the worms from the body. It generally advised consuming the roasted pumpkin seed for a couple of weeks to get an adequate benefit.

3. Papaya

Papain and bromelain are the digestive enzymes in the papaya create noisome to the intestinal worm. Raw papaya is lush with enzyme papain that can be detrimental to the intestinal worm. It is advised to consume raw papaya for at least a week to get the benefit.  Ayurveda has been using raw papaya to expel the worms from the long time back.

4. Pomegranate Tree Bark

Consuming the paste obtained from the bark of pomegranate tree can help to get rid of the intestinal worm. It is advised to take the paste for a couple of days in empty stomach.

5. Garlic

Making 1 to 2 garlic clove paste and drinking with the cup of water can expel the worms. The allicin compound in the garlic acts as the potent parasitic repellent. It is normally advised to consume garlic daily for a week. Due to innate high sulfur content consuming the high dose of garlic can create noisome.  

6. Ginger

Consuming ten gram of paste of the raw ginger mixed with the water for a couple of days can eliminate the intestinal worms of various types.
